… transforms a predominantly monofunctional office site into a dense and mixed-use urban quarter. Existing structures are selectively retained, opened up and complemented by new residential volumes, creating a connected network of buildings, courtyards and public spaces. Different housing typologies, active ground floors and shared uses introduce new layers of everyday life, while new pedestrian connections integrate the formerly isolated site into its surroundings. The project understands transformation and reuse as the basis for a flexible and long-term urban development.
